Dear Judge,
As the newly designated editors of The Gavel, we are writing to formally introduce ourselves and enlist your assistance. Our goal is to keep the membership informed as to activities of the IJA and judges throughout the state. As a committee chair or co-chair, we would be grateful if you could provide us with any information about your committee you would like to share with the membership.
The next deadline is October 12, 2001. That deadline will enable us to mail the next issue of The Gavel in Mid-November, just before the annual convention. If that's too soon for you, don't worry. Please just send us what you can when you can on an on-going basis and we will include it in a subsequent issue of The Gavel.
Please submit all proposed articles or information for articles on disk, in MS Word format, along with a hard copy or e-mail it to one of us as a MS Word attachment. Photographs are welcome too. Contact us at:
