News Release Illinois Judges Association Launch Campaign to Inform the Public About Judicial Fairness

The Illinois Judges Association (IJA) is excited to share that today it is launching a campaign designed to inform the public about the ethical responsibilities of judges and important resources available to self-represented litigants. These clever videos (see links below) depict real-life experiences faced by citizens and judges inside the courtroom. The vignettes feature IJA judges in dual roles, acting as themselves and also as self-represented litigants. The videos will be distributed to courtrooms and legal organizations throughout the state. They will also be posted on social media channels.

Please consider sharing the downloadable videos with your audiences or incorporating them into the websites or social media posts you utilize as part of your outreach to self-represented litigants.
